So, I'm heading home for today, and my tire has gone flat, within the 2 hours I have been at work, it is completely flat(like the picture). A gas station is only 1 mile away, can I make that, without damaging the brakes or rim?

You will destroy both the tire and rim if you drive a mile on it. If you can't get some air in it or put a spare on, don't drive it.

I'll take your advice, thanks, never happened to me before, so I have no clue. Guess I'm gonna take the bus home. Hooray!

Depends on what you consider damage to the rim. You'll wreck the tyre, and likely put some scarring on the rim, but as long as you're careful you shouldn't be looking at structural damage.
If you just need to put some air in the tyre to get it to a better pump, even one of the little minipumps cyclists carry will do the job - eventually. You should be able to grab one of these for about a fiver in your local Buymore/Quik-e-Mart, though:

You will destroy the sidewall of the tire if you drive on it. Unless you plan on replacing the tire or the puncture is in a spot that cannot be patched, don't drive on it. Walk to a sporting good store or an auto parts store and get a manual pump or one that goes in your 12V socket, your tire will get ruined and you WILL end up with a blowout after the sidewall gets damaged and the tire gets re-inflated. Take the 10 minutes to put your spare on if you got one.

First question is where is your Spare ... and if not spare where is your fix a flat and or compressor ?

It really depends on a few factors. I’ve driven 20 miles with no damage to either the tire or the rim.
I was amazed that the tire was still good!! I figured the rim would be ok, as long as the tire didn’t shred... and since it was ok, (checked it every few miles) I kept going. I went to my tire guy, and he filled it back up, tire and rim were fine!!
Wow.. do you have any practical experience, or is your opinion guesswork? I’m just wondering...?

Wow! Yeah about 6 years practical experience of pulling off tires and patching and replacing tires.
But whatever you must have had super sidewalls. Or runflats. Meh.
